Job Summary :    
A. Review customer inquiries and proposal preparation.
B. Design “oil and gas field” process equipment packages.
C. Perform engineering tasks during project execution.  
Minimum Job Qualifications :
# Learn product relevant technology and equipment design.
# Assist in the review of customer specifications and equipment design to comply with specifications.
# Assist in the preparation of technical proposals that include a clear definition of the scope of supply, equipment performance, warranty, and delivery.  Present the proposal in a way that positively enhances Cameron’s position to receive the order.
# Develop “deliverables” for cost estimating, design engineering, and drafting.
# Contribute to the development and creation of all project drawings including P&ID’s, vessels, structural and piping.  
# Learn to coordinate the estimating activities of the various departments involved with the proposal to prepare the cost estimate.
# Learn to tabulate cost estimate.
# Confirm compliance with the customer’s purchase order regarding the proposal technical and process requirements.
# Understand and comment on P&IDs.
# Learn to develop process simulations utilizing Cameron defined software.
# Create simple PFDs and P&IDs and assist with P&ID walk-downs on fabricated equipment.
# Learn to develop equipment data sheets and estimate equipment weights.
# Learn to specify and requisition major buy-out equipment items such as heat exchangers and pumps.
# Learn to perform equipment process design and mechanical design.
# Learn to perform line sizing calculations.
# Learn to select and locate level control equipment.
# Develop Control Narrative documents.
# Produce Installation, Operating (Start-Up and Shut-down) and Maintenance Instruction manuals, including lists for Consumables, Special Tools, Lubricants, and Utilities.
# Perform final review of Project Job Manuals.
Qualifications and Education Requirements :
  1.  Minimum Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical, Petroleum, or Mechanical Engineering with 0 – 2 years in the industry, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Skills :
# Develops academic knowledge and skills and acquires work experience aligned with Cameron ETCL.
# Ability to learn to size process equipment to meet the design criteria.
# Ability to learn to understand PFDs and P&IDs.
# Ability to learn to size lines.
# Ability to convey mechanical design details to drafting personnel for the preparation of fabrication and layout drawings.
# Ability to work cooperatively with various company departments associated with designing, estimating, fabricating, operating, and selling this equipment.
# Ability to utilize Word, Excel, Powerpoint and engineering design programs.
